Be-You-Ty And Beyond: What You Get With Philippine Airlines Promo Ticket

Be-You-Ty And Beyond: What You Get With Philippine Airlines Promo Ticket

What You Get With Philippine Airlines Promo Ticket

Hi friends!

Let's breathe out from the world of Make-up for just a tiny winy while...hehe...I know I'm always excited when it comes to makeup.  But, I also have a lot of stuffs and experiences that I wanted to share to you guys.  Who knows, we share the same experiences too.

This is my first time flying with a Promo Ticket from Philippine Airlines.  Yeah, it's a promo ticket but the difference is not that big though but I thought I could use the extra money for a hotel or something.  You know, it's not easy earning money to just waste it when you have a chance to save even a little of it.

So, what includes in the promo ticket is it's a little way cheaper and your baggage weight is cut in half.  Yes, you heard it right, cut in half.  Instead of two (2) 23kgs of bags, it's reduced to one.  Well, I could live with that.  It's fine with me.  No big of a deal. But for those who have lots of "Pasalubong".  This is not for you.  At that time,  that's all that I know.

It was on the day of our flight that I discovered that we will be flying on a smaller plane...Scaweyyy...It always makes me feel terrified, uneasy and uncomfortable whenever I'm in a plane.  I guess a lot of people can relate to that.  So, knowing that we will be flying on a smaller plane made me feel even more terrified, uneasy and uncomfortable.

It's a 4 hour flight from Nagoya to Manila. Since it is a smaller plane, it also means that there is only two (2) Rest Room located at the end of the plane.  Like the ones they use on Domestic Flights.  Imagine, you're in a 4-hour flight, you're restless or excited.  You know the feeling when you feel restless and excited, right?  You always feel the need to go to the Rest Room.  So I just thought, this is just what you get when you pay 5% less or lesser from the original prize.  Yeah,  just 5% less and everything is sliced into half...hahaha...or more.

I thought that's all of it.  Well, still more wonderful surprises coming...hahaha...Since we are a connecting flight, we are used to claiming our baggage at our final destination.  So, after I pass by Immigration, the guard asked me if I have a connecting flight,  looked at my boarding pass and told me "You need to get your baggage at this Carousel Number *** " .   What the heck Philippine Airlines! We were told at check-in that we'll claim our baggage at our final destination but how come we need to get our baggage again and let it checked to the Customs Desk.  This is our first time doing this.  We always claim our baggage at final destination. I am really disappointed with their service.

I always fly with Philippine Airlines since before even it's more expensive compared to Cebu Pacific.  But what me and my husband is after for, is the convenience that Philippine Airlines gives when flying.  And also Cebu Pacific only operates at Narita Airport which is quite of a hassle because it too far from our place and you need to wait at the airport for your next flight since it flies at night and the connecting plane will be in the morning.

Every time we talk about what plane are we going to ride, I always make a million  free endorsements on Philippine Airlines for its Convenience.  But after all the things I went through, I'm starting to have second thoughts on this Airline.  This is not the first time that I am experiencing the inconvenience.  We were almost left by the plane on our last fly to Nagoya.  The doors were already closed.  They did not even wait for us.  I insisted with the ticket clerk we will not be flying the later flight, but she told us that it's the Pair Schedule that PAL system choose automatically.  At the time that we bought that ticket, I already have that weird feeling and yeah, I was right.
We checked-in and all but how come that they did not know that the connecting flight was delayed and there was even nobody to fetch us when we arrive at the NAIA Airport.  The plane is ready to live with our luggage with it.  How reckless and irresponsible the people running the Airline.  Sorry for the words, but it's the truth.

I was expecting more from them since Cebu Pacific is now operating on the same airport.  The competition will be tight considering that Cebu Pacific is way cheaper than them.  But it's the other way around.  If they continue to serve like this, I don't know if there will be still a lot of people flying on their plane.

Here are some photos I want to share with you guys:

This is from the Front View of the Plane ( No Rest Room) :-(

Another photo from the Front...so sad

Check out the back of the Airplane   ( it's the only place where the two (2) Rest Rooms were located...  I'll just hold my piss until I arrive at the airport or just wear a catheter...nyahaha )

Another photo of the Back Portion of the plane ( so far away.... Rest Room I miss you...huhu )

Disclaimer:  I didn't intent to ruin the companies reputation of what so ever.  This is just my                         personal experience.  And maybe this will help them improve their service the                           next time.  Peace!

Hope this post helps not only to the clients of Philippine Airlines as well as the Airline itself.
Please feel free to leave your comments, share your experience.  I love to hear it too!

Review: MISSHA Eye Brightener Concealer

Woohoo! Another Blog!

Keeping up with the busy life!

This time, I'll be talking about one of my Favorites, It's Missha's Under Eye Brightener Concealer.  This comes in two (2) shades No.1 Light Beige-  best for under eye highlighter and face highlighter.  The other is No.2 Natural Beige - best in concealing blemishes.  What I like about this concealer is it's so easy to blend.  Melts like heaven but covers so beautifully.  Really hides those unwanted under eye dark circles, stubborn pimple marks and whatever it is you want to hide.  The concealer is super lightweight and the best part is. it does not crease and settle into your fine lines.  Yeah, baby!  For those who have mature skin, I definitely recommend this concealer!

This dries fairly quickly but not in a way where it looks like it's emphasizing your dry spots.  It gives that velvety healthy dewy looking but not shiny finish to the skin.  Just like the way Korean skin looks like. Sooooo healthy, poreless and superbly beautiful.  Wooh! Starts getting excited here. ^_^

For the prize, it's a little pricier though compared to Etude House or Tony Moly but it's totally worth the prize.

Now for the fun part! The photos!

This is how it looks like friends ^_^

Let's take a closer look to these babies

I swatched it at back of my hands and see how opaque the concealer is

On the Left Side is the No.1 Light and On the Right Side is the No.2 Natural Beige
No.1 is more on the yellow undertone perfect for highlighting and brightening concerned areas while No.2 is just right in concealing some pimple marks and other blemishes

With my Scary Bare Face...hehe...can you see my dark under eye circles here? It's not as severe though but still you could tell the shadows underneath and I do look a little tired here.

And viola!  It instantly brightened my eyes!  I now look more awake!

Close-up look of my tired and shadowed under eyes.  See I have some fines lines there

Close up look after applying the concealer...I am absolutely in-love with this concealer.  Remember about my fine lines?  I did not see the concealer settling there at all.

All evidences were being represented.  You give the verdict whether you like this concealer too because to me, I am overly in-love with this concealer ^_^  I absolutely recommend the Missha Undereye Brightener Concealer.

Hope you give this a try and if you have any questions or thoughts about this concealer, please do let me know.  Leave your comments below.  I would definitely love to hear from you guys.

Hope to see you again and Happy Reading! ^_^

Review: Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit

Another Blog! Yey!

As much as I wanted to post as often as I can but sadly there's been a lot of other stuffs that's preventing me from writing.  There are so much makeup products and happenings that I wanted to share.

Atlast! Here it is! Congratulations to myself...hehe...Enough with the rambling and let's get started ^_^

The Etude House's Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit (what a long name ).  This BB Cream comes in four (4) shades : NO2 - Light Beige, W13 - Natural Beige, W15 - Sand Beige & W24 - Honey Beige.  It has a dewy finish to the skin and the one that I have is the lightest shade ( NO2).  I have an oily skin type and pale skin that's why I chose that color.  I was very excited to try this product because I've seen reviews of it people raving so much. They also mentioned that it's alright to use this on oily skin.  So, I purchased it and excitedly went home and the very next day I tried it on.  To my surprised, I was so disappointed with this product. It's not the way I expected it.  The color was off, way too pinkish and made my face looks ashy.  But I didn't stop there, I tried it again and again in any possible ways thinking maybe it's not good with this type of primer or this type of moisturizer etc.  Really gave it a million chances to shine...hehe...But none of my strategies on applying it changed the way the BB Cream looks on my face, still ashy...huhu...I feel like I'm Slimer from "The Ghostbuster" ...awooooo...you know what I'm trying to say, right?

So, my final verdict on this BB Cream --> Trash!  So sad.  But I just can't find a way to like it.  It's been half a year trying and testing but nothing works.

Here are some photos of the BB Cream :

It's Pink! So Girly :)

I squeeze it at the back of my hand...can you see the pinkness of the BB Cream?

My Bare Skin...some redness around the nose, little discoloration and visible pores

Bare Skin...just ignore the eyelid tape on my eyes..hehe

See how pinky it is on top of my skin? Doesn't match at all :-(

Too Pale and Ashy...see the separation between my face and neck

Let's take a look up close --- it evens the redness but did not hide my gigantic pores or blur it atleast.

The line of separation is pretty obvious here and again, it looks so pink and dewy (shiny?) ...hehehe

After 2 hours of wearing the BB Cream ( sooo shiny, you could actually now fry some eggs...lol )

On the first photo where I apply the BB Cream it looked a little matte because I topped it with some powder just to minimize the shininess a little but it did not hold for too long as you can see in my last photo, it's just been 2 hours and my face is already a grease ball...hehe...

My overall thoughts would be, this is definitely suitable for those people that have normal to dry skin.  I now need to accept the painful fact that this is not for me.

I hope this helps everyone who are planning to buy a BB Cream for the first time.  I know it won't be easy just throwing some stuffs, it's just like throwing money in the garbage.

Please leave some comments below and let me know what products you would like me to review the next time.

See you in my next blog! Happy Reading!

First Blog -- Dollywink Eyeliner Review

Hey everyone! This is gonna be my first blog and I'm quite a little nervous.  I've been wanting to write about makeup products that I've tried both that works and does not for the longest time ever.  I find that there are only few reviews/blogs talking about Japanese Brands.  I want to share and help others that are also interested in Japanese Brands both skincare and makeup. I know a lot of people share the same feelings with me since I cannot read Japanese like everyone else. And finally, here it is! I'm excited! yohoo! I hope this helps.

So, today I would be talking about Tsubasa Masuwaka's Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner.  I've tried a lot of  liquid eyeliners in the past like Maybelline, L'oreal and all other brands that you could possibly think of.  I also tried a lot of Japanese brands and I believe that they rule in that category in makeup aside from super waterproof mascaras.  But what stand out to me the most is this liquid eyeliner Dollywink.

You know that feeling when you are currently using  this particular product and yeah, works well but still you are searching for "The One"...hehe...I always have that feeling.  One day, I went to the drugstore and saw this pinky, girly, cute packaging of Dollywink Eyeliner.  I tried to look for reviews of it online for I don't want to spend another money for a product that would end up be thrown to the trash...Again... Since the store has its tester, I decided to try it on my hand.  And to my surprised, it was very opaque black and when I try to rub it off, I was even more amazed it didn't come off.  I was like, what the heck.  This eyeliner dries so freaking fast this might be suitable to my very oily lids, sensitive watery hooded eyes.  So I bought it, tried and tested in any possibilities that you could imagine.  Usually, during the hot summer days my eyeliner just melts away just like you put ice cream under the sun and leave me looking like Po in Kung Fu Panda.  It also transfers to my upper part of the lid which is quite annoying sometimes.  How embarrassing...huhuhu...
But the Dollywink Eyeliner didn't do that.  It stayed on my lids like nobody's business.  It only comes off if you remove it.  Don't you think it's amazing?  Truly sent from heaven.  Finally, I found what I've been looking for ^_^ .  No more panda eyes...hehe

The eyeliner comes in two colors which is Black and Brown.

Old Packaging (Blue-Brown : Pink Black )
New Packaging ( Blue-Brown : Pink- Black)

Swatch it at the back of my hand...Super Black isn't it?

Tried to rub it but didn't came off ^_^

Did not even bleed when put under running water

Let's try rubbing it off under running water...hehe
Tada! some may came off... but I need to rub it so hard but still this is how it looks like...Impressive!

This is how it looks like on ^_^

After 10 hours of wearing with all the oils and sweats still no transferring on the upper lid and most of all no Panda eyes!

I highly recommend this product.  If you are searching for a great eyeliner, I hope you would give this a try.

Hope this post helps you a lot.  If you tried this already, please feel free to let me know what are thoughts about this product.

If you like me to review another product just leave it in the comments

Thank You and Happy Reading ^_^
